 Easy to take & lasts a long timeAug 25, 2009

Per info on the 1 oz. bottle, it contains 750 drops each delivering 2000 mg. Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol). One drop/day on the tongue, which tastes slightly sweet, is much easier to take than than the equivalent mg in pill form. Highly recommend it for the quality, and the price makes it an excellent value.

I was having some health problems and my doctor tested my Vitamin D levels. It turned out that I was extremely low, and she recommended Bio D-Mulsion Forte. As per my doctor's recommendation, I take 5 drops each day of the 2000 mg. She monitors my blood levels to make sure I don't accidentally overdose myself.
My general health has improved in the last few months, and my immunity is so much better that I have not caught any "bug" that goes around since I started taking this product - even though I live with and care for two elementary age granddaughters who catch and carry every illness that goes around their school. Now, I have purchased the 400 mg strength, and give it to my granddaughters (along with cod liver oil) every day before school. They seem to be sick less often, and recover faster when they do catch something.
I have always been suseptible to severe colds and have developed a seasonal asthma because years of coughing have damaged my breathing passages. It is important to minimize my risk of getting winter colds and this vitamin D has helped considerably.
A note about the price: I purchased this on Amazon for around $20.00, but my doctor charged me $250.00 for exactly the same product. I was glad to get such in important remedy at any price, but it is much cheaper here. I say, "Get it from Amazon".

Our doctor told my wife and me that we need a lot more vitamin D than typically provided in the multiple vitamin capsules. He recommended this. While we could not prove it. We seem to be much healthier after taking this.

This is of course not scientifically proven, but I attribute my overall general good health to this Vit D supplement. I am a school teacher and get sick every year during the start of the winter. I have been taking a drop a day of this Vit D supplement (as recommended from my homeopathic doctor) for almost a year. Yes, even in the summer. I have not been knocked out with a cold once since then. I feel the bugs tickle my throat, but they never take me down. This has been the ONE consistent vitamin I have taken since my total immune shut down last year and now I wouldn't live without it. It truly is like a miracle vitamin to me.
